For many of us, deciding where to travel can be largely affected by how easy of a trip it will be with our pet and how much we can do with them while visiting. Portland is also central to many great hiking trails, the river, the coast, and has many pet friendly coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. We can also personally vouch for the welcoming attitude towards pets in Portland as our owner and many staff members are from the area! Portland is a great option for those looking for a city that will welcome their dog with hospitality and love.
Asheville, NC
Often described as quirky, hip, or modern, Asheville is a great vacation option for people and pets alike. Asheville, much like Portland, is close to many hiking trails, as well as a river for pups who love the water. It also has many pet friendly restaurants. If you’re a beer lover, Asheville also has a great brewery scene, with some being pet friendly! Whatever your preference is for activities, it is not difficult to find ones in Asheville, NC that you can easily include your pet in.
San Diego, CA
If your pup is a beach lover, San Diego is a great vacation spot! This city has many pet friendly beaches, parks, and restaurants. There are even kayak rentals for you and your pup, and restaurants in the area with dedicated dog menus. This is a great spot to visit if you and your pup are both looking for a little Vitamin Sea.
